The keyboard and mouse I'm using with RD are obviously not directly attached to my work computer, but Windows 7 does recognize my keyboard/mouse for all other programs.Įven when I try to use Remote Desktop from another work computer located in the same room, I get the same error message, so it apparently has nothing to do with VPN.Īnyone have ideas on how to get the keyboard and mouse to be recognized when using Remote Desktop Connection and Presentation? My keyboard and mouse do work in all other applications (e.g., MS Word, Firefox, etc) and HID keyboard and mouse devices show up in Device Manager, so I'm not sure why Presentation is not detecting the keyboard and mouse. When launching Presentation applications on my work computer remotely from home using Remote Desktop (RD), I get Presentation error messages regarding keyboard and mouse devices not found. Hi, I often log into my work computer from home using VPN and Windows 7 Remote Desktop Connection, and would like to work on Presentation programs from home on occasion (Presentation is licensed only on my work computer).
